A Message From The President

GREETINGS CBBS MEMBERS AND FRIENDS

Thank you so much for your continued support of our senate, Chesapeake Bay Bowling Senate “CBBS”, and The National Bowling Association “TNBA”.  We appreciate your interest and participation in both our local senate and National tournaments, and activities.

In keeping you up to date on what’s going on in “TNBA” and “CBBS” we continue to send our “CBBS Member Blast” to members who have provided us with an email address.  We hope that this is useful to you.  Please remember that if you change your email address, you must notify us by sending the new email address to our secretary, Jackie Davis at jdglam20@hotmail.com .

CBBS members have had a great year with bowling achievements.  We congratulate those bowlers who have earned these awards as well as bowlers who have met their personal bowling goals and achievements.

For the first time, CBBS has a Junior/Youth team win the open division at the Eastern Region Junior Tournament held in New Jersey .  As a result of the win, they have won a trip to Reno to represent the East at the TNBA Junior Classic Roll-off.  Congratulations to team members,  Tanner Laughman, Robert Salm, Joshua Chase and Drew Spriggs.  David Dandridge will be substituting for Drew who will be graduating and will not be able to make the trip.   Good luck and good bowling. CBBS adult and youth members will be cheering for you!

TNBA will be having a historical 2008 convention in Reno .  The delegation will cast their vote to accept or reject the proposed new bylaws for a change of organization status to a not for profit organization known as 501C3.  This is also election year.  Information about the result of the voting will be forthcoming

I thank all of the members who take time out of their busy schedules to keep CBBS running smoothly.

Thank you again for you support of CBBS and TNBA.

The officers of the Chesapeake Bay Bowling Senate

Paula Dozier,
CBBS President
